Cookies Policy

The cookies and browser storage NameAnvil uses, what each one does, and how to control them.

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy explains how NameAnvil uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: the generator stores two small items in your browser so it can remember your settings and saved names, and Google Analytics sets two cookies so we can count visits.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website can place on your device. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site keep small pieces of data on your device. Neither is sent to a server by itself. Local storage is only read by the site that saved it.

What NameAnvil stores

We use browser local storage to make the tool more convenient, and Google Analytics cookies to measure usage. Here is everything:

NameTypeWhat it doesHow long it lasts
nameanvil:settingsLocal storage, first partyRemembers your last generator options, such as style, length and letter case.Until you clear site data
nameanvil:favoritesLocal storage, first partyKeeps the names you saved, so they are there when you come back.Until you clear site data or remove the names
_gaCookie, first party, set by Google AnalyticsTells Google Analytics apart one browser from another so visits can be counted.Up to 2 years
_ga_TLESBPWBKMCookie, first party, set by Google AnalyticsKeeps track of the current session for our Google Analytics property.Up to 2 years

The two local storage items stay on your device. We cannot see them and they are not sent to us. The two Google Analytics cookies are not needed for the generator to work. They are used for analytics only, and you can block or delete them at any time.

Third-party services

Google Analytics is provided by Google. When it runs, your browser contacts Google’s servers, and Google receives information such as your IP address and the pages you view. Google’s use of this data is explained in its cookies page and Privacy Policy. NameAnvil does not currently use advertising or social media tools that set cookies. Our hosting provider may use technical measures to deliver the site securely.

If this changes

We may add advertising or other tools in the future. If we do, we will update this page first to list each cookie or tool, what it does and how long it lasts, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it. You will be able to change your choice at any time.

How to manage or delete stored data

  • Remove saved names. Open the generator and use Remove on a saved name or Clear all.
  • Clear everything. In your browser settings, clear site data or cookies for jobzkd.com. Look for “Privacy”, “Site settings” or “Clear browsing data”.
  • Block storage and cookies. You can block site data and cookies in your browser. The generator will still work, but it will not remember your settings or saved names.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop your visits being measured on any site.
